| Installation
types for sinks: |
1.
Integral
The sink and countertop are made from the same material. Whether
you use this type of installation in your bathroom or kitchen, the
result is a smooth, sleek look.
2.
Undermounted
For a modern look, try installing an undermounted sink. It creates
more or less the same feel as the integral installation, but the
sink is attached underneath the countertop.
3.
Self-Rimming
With this type of sink installation, the rimmed edge of the sink
is mounted over the countertop.
4.
Tile-in
Similar to the undermounted sink installation, but specifically
used for tiled surfaces. This design shows no visible separation
between the sink and the tiled surface.
